While the world turns an eye to the Winter Olympic Games, Denver west metro area-based dog boarding, daycare, and grooming center Beds-N-Biscuits is getting in on the fun by competing in The Dog Gurus’ Annual Daycare Games.
Every day the experts at Beds-N-Biscuits manage to wrangle large groups of dogs off-leash by using their special skills. Certain skills used by excellent daycare facilities keep dogs safe while they play together. The Daycare Games are focused on proving who is the best at providing these skills to the dogs in their care. Events begin the week of Feb. 7 and continue for the following four weeks to allow teams to demonstrate abilities with recall, group sit, and gate boundary skills.
BNB staff will be competing in three events:
- Dog Recall (February 7-11)—Scored on the percentage of dogs in the playgroup that come when called.
- Group Sit (February 14-18)—Scored on the number of dogs in the playgroup that will sit at the same time on cue.
- Gate Boundary (February 21-25)—Scored on the number of dogs waiting calmly at the boundary line of the entry gate to the play area.
